Camira Scout Group Escape to Scouting

Scouts

Scouts are boys and girls between the ages of 10½ and 14½ years.  Scouts gives young people the opportunity to follow their special interests closely, develop personally, and learn skills in fields such as camp craft, air and water activities and the environment.  Scouting is a constant round of adventure including abseiling, hiking, camping, canoeing and sailing.  Scouts can learn about lightweight camping, bush navigation, water safety and they will learn to tie lots of useful knots.

Scouts also gain valuable life skills such as confidence, resilience, leadership and responsibility.

Scouts meet at the Camira Scout Den on Wednesday nights from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
